DESIGN

It all starts with a passion for fashion. Followed by analyzing trends. After this the collection story arises from a theme, mood board, color card, framework and material cards. Thanks to my study at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and years of experience I know how important this process is to build up a strong story for every collection. This will set a base to elaborated sketches made in Adobe Illustrator where all details, fit, colors and materials come together. Of course I will set my own signature to my designs. Which is a great balance between statement pieces as eye-catchers and salable commercial items born out of rich materials, harmonized colors and exceptional shapes with an appealing fit.

DEVELOPMENT

Of course there is nothing without the development part. So I am happy to announce that I can offer more then only the design element. I worked with many suppliers in countries as the Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey, China and India. Several times I visited these countries to get the maximum out of our collaborations. You can think of suppliers who are producing delicate fashion, technical sportswear, leather boots, safety wear, horse gear and outstanding accessoires. The detailed sketches, stylesheets and size specs I made are the perfect communication way to get to a great fashion collection or maybe even specific items.

STYLING

Next to my expertise on design I love to work on styling assignments. Especially if they are on commercial sets; photography and film. One big adventure every time again and a challenge to translate the clients needs in a different way. I am not afraid to reflect the character and mood on my own personality, which again makes a great signature. During my study I did my own styling for shows and photoshoots which brought me nowadays to work for SONY Music Entertainment, Esmée Croqué Styling, Bekstage Agency and MediaMonks. Recently I participated as an assistant stylist for clients as Philips, Starbucks and Eneco.
